Erected in 1930, the Central School in Lordsburg follows the Art Deco architectural style typical of these later (1920-1930) Henry Trost designed schools, especially in and around El Paso. This school is still in outstanding condition, surprising for a town that is experiencing Covid related financial loss, in addition to a deteriorating Main Street. The building was a pleasant surprise and a joy to photograph. We were able to take these photos on 10/22/2020.
