Here's an enchanting Chalet in Austin Terrace, designed by one of El Paso's premier residential and commercial architects, Otto Thorman. The building was erected in 1927 on land that had been previously owned by C.D. Paulin, a local area representative for the Reo Automobile company.
Contractor for the 9-room home was Hayward & Betzel. This is a gorgeous design, one of Thorman's finest residential creations. The history of this home has been difficult to trace using period newspapers, nevertheless it still belongs in the El Paso Architectural Hall of Fame, a member of the "Easy On The Eyes" club - -
